Our Promise

It is our promise to ensure quality, beauty, and temperament in our litters. This encompasses a focus on the health and wellness of every puppy.

Quality

We have carefully curated and raised 3 foundation dogs that will produce quality and beauty with every litter. Not only does each foundation dog have a strong, AKC standard of excellence confirmation, their temperament is friendly and gentle.

Care

We handle every level of care with Veterinary oversight, and testing. We personally welp each litter, and raise them for the following 8 weeks on our farm where they are socialized, loved on, and have ample space to explore and exercise. The health and wellness of each puppy is of the utmost importance.

Testing

Our Vet, Dr. Susan Read, is exceptional! She makes personalized farm visits to keep our puppies free of the stress of travel within the first 8 weeks. Dr. Read administers the required tests and vaccinations on a delayed schedule in order to keep each puppy’s immune system strong. Our Foundation dogs have also been hip certified, even though neither breed is listed as a breed prone to these health issues.

Our promise is the difference.

Questions Many of you have:

Searching for a new fluffy companion can be overwhelming. There are so many breeds, even more breeders (who are not all created equal, by the way), and sea of information on the internet to sift through.

We get it and we want to simplify it for you. If you know a Bernedoodle cross, Purebred Standard Poodle, or a Purebred Bernese Mountain Dog are for you, congrats! You’ve been selective in your choosing of dog breed, and all three have qualities that have put them among the top-ranked dogs on just about any list you find on the internet.

It is our hope that these questions and answers we provide help give you the most transparency throughout the puppy purchasing process through us, or any other responsible breeder.

How big will my puppy get?

We breed and raise a Standard Poodle with a full size Bernese Mountain Dog for our first-gen Bernedoodle cross. Standard Poodles, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Bernedoodles that come from our farm are all in the large breed category. Their full grown size ranges from 60 – 115 pounds. Check out our Breed specific pages to learn more about a particular breed.

When do I take my puppy home?

The right time is around 8 weeks. By 8 weeks, they have been eating soft foods for 2-3 weeks, and have received 1 round of vaccinations and testing. Although Bernedoodle cross is not prone to health issues, we have had both parents tested and hip certified.

Do you ship puppies?

With the reach of the internet, our puppies popularity has traveled far. If you are not located within driving distance of our farm, that’s ok. We are happy help facilitate the shipping of your dog by making recomendations and sharing the details of each transportation option. This process is an additional cost to the buyer, and takes coordination between all parties to set up the right form of transportation for you. We are located about an hour and half from Dallas where two major airports are located. We have had puppies flown and also used a carrier service to drive our puppies to their final destinations. If you are considering the transport of your new puppy, take some time to do your own research as we are happy to work with the carrier service of your choosing.
